DeadPatch 2.0: Your Match History Has Entered the Chat
Check your Deadlock stats (We ain't trying to be statlocker here tho), tier lists have patch context now to help you keep them up to date, Big UI Improvements on Mobile and other stuff.
Account-less stats and cool PNG Cards
Open Profile, paste your Steam profile link or SteamID64, and save. You can switch between Standard, Ranked and Street Brawl, choose a date range, and see your results, win rate, average K/D/A and playtime.
Open a recent match for its details, or click a hero to check their results and compare this month with last month. Favorite/Star your mains to keep up with them easier.
History can be incomplete as API access doesn't guarantee 100% of all matches. Refresh stats when you want the latest available results.
Your profile is local only to whatever browser you use. No need for an account or anything. Save backup includes your profile, stats and tier lists, so you can restore/import them elsewhere.
Screenshots with fewer browser tabs in them
Export PNG makes a card for the mode and date range you're looking at. You can also export an individual hero or today's recap, then choose a theme for the card.
Useful for sharing a good session. Also useful for documenting the session for reference later.
Your tier list can remember the patch it was birthed on
Open List details in the tier-list maker. You can add a rank bracket and game mode, then turn on "Track balance patches" if that list would benefit from it.
One thing that always annoyed me about tier lists is how quickly they can become outdated. You make a list, big balance patch, and now you've got no idea which placements still make sense.
So I added patch tracking. You can tell DeadPatch which patch your list was made for, and it'll highlight heroes that have been changed since then. You can click through to their patch notes, decide if they need moving around, and mark your list as reviewed when you're done.
It's optional, so if you don't care about any of that, you can just leave it off.
Tracking is off by default but can be turned on anytime.
Tier-list PNGs also have Match board, Wide and Tall layouts, with standard or 2× resolution. New short share links show an actual preview of the tier list instead of our generic link preview.
The official rankings have moved out
The Official DeadPatch Tier List has its own tab now, leaving more room for your own lists on the homepage. There's space for ranking notes explaining patch-related decisions, plus an expandable view of hero placement notes.
Hero voting is shelved until the next set releases.
A few less exciting things that you'll probably notice
Phone layouts have had a cleanup. For tier list making, the list tools are now in a drop down so the area is less cluttered and you don't have to scan with your eyes as much to find what you need.
The website footer finally looks like a footer. Strong showing from the footer this patch.
General is the new home for posts like this and feature walkthroughs. About Us is linked from the footer for anyone wondering who's responsible for all of this.
Still on the to-do list: more beginner and intermediate guides, better build explanations and purchasing advice, DeadPatch Workshop (it's gonna be neat and will make creating builds easier in game or out of game). Releasing very soon for the beginner and intermediate guides and the other stuff is TBD.
Give it all a try and let me know how it be. I've stopped playing the game and only make DeadPatch now. I even work on DeadPatch while at work.
